Full Description

17th to 18th century series of lead mine waste heaps with shaft hollows, some ploughed down, some not. (1,2). A spread of lead mining material c.0.6 to 0.75 metres high. There are no obvious shaft hollows. The 1880 Ordnance Survey map marks a lead mine in this area. (3).
