Full Description

1860 to 1866 railway tunnel. Western tunnel entrance of blue brick and masonry. Measures 7m wide, 5.5m high to the top of the arch and 1m of brick and masonry bands above the arch. Access is prevented by iron doors. The tunnel is part of the Monsal Dale Rail Trail. (1).
