Full Description

Packhorse bridge over the Bradbourne Brook, Lea Hall and Kniveton, a 17th century or earlier structure. Single arch packhorse bridge/footbridge over Bradbourne Brook dating from the 17th century or earlier and constructed of rubblestone. The bridge was listed as a Grade II structure on 28th August 1984 but was de-listed in 2000. (1) The bridge crosses between Lea Hall and Kniveton parishes. (2) Previously Grade II Listed: 'The following building was de-listed on 14th December 2000. SK 15 SE PARISH OF LEA HALL OFF BRADBOURNE ROAD 5/150 (West Side) Packhorse Bridge at OS 197512 II Packhorse bridge, C17 or earlier. Rubblestone with single pointed arch. See also District of West Derbyshire, parish of Kniveton item 1/70 Listing NGR: SK1970051200.'
