Full Description

Sk 1092 7952: Mile post. (1). Stone milestone at the side of the A623 (the old Chesterfield-Chapel turnpike road) beside a demolished stone wall. The stone is engraved, one side reads 'to Chapel ? Miles, Stockport 17' and one reads 'To Tidswell ? Miles, Bakewell 10, Chesterfield 19'. (2).
