Full Description

Located in the opening at the end of the path alongside Spring Cottage. Three stone troughs used by animals, collecting water from the shale bank at the rear and the spring alongside. Gritstone setts cover the area in front of the troughs. A wall divides the spring, which the villagers used for their own water supply, and the trough area. (1)
