Monument record MDR8899 - Well, Broughlane Head, Aston
Type and Period (1)
- WELL (Unknown date)
- None recorded
Well which supplied cottages at Lane Head before the installation of piped water. It is surrounded by a limestone wall. In 1973 the well was in poor condition. (1) Comparison of historic and modern maps shows that the well has been moved some 7 metres to the west, probably as the result of road widening at the junction. (3)
