Full Description

Ornate stone well. The front is inscribed 'The Gift of T.W. Bateman Esq. 1870'. (3). Grade II listed water supply fountain, dated 1876. Shallow blind arch, with incised voussoirs and projecting keyblock. Surmounted by ball finial, supported on hexagonal columns set into quoined recess in low wall. Inscription on archstones and below arch reads 'The Gift of TWB Esq 1876'. (4).
