Full Description

Stone and rendered cover for valve mechanism on a private water supply for the village. Approximately 15' tall conical structure (19th century in date) with a wooden door on a small entrance way. The structure stands next to the road within the grounds of Holdsworth's Food factory. (1) An unusual white conical structure about 4m high, known locally as the 'well'. Probably late 19th century. (2)
