Full Description

Limestone standing stone at the side of the road to Pilsbury, possibly an old gatepost. This feature is a gatepost with a wall running up to it. (1). This roadside gatepost is on the line of a boundary that ebcame redundent between 1804 and 1926. it is not a 'standing stone', as suggested in Peak Park Treasure E168. (2).
