Full Description

A cast iron post, triangular in section, marking the boundary between Wingerworth and Ashover parishes. It stands on the Matlock-Chesterfield road near Stone Edge. (1) Since the rear wall of the adjoing house appears to define the parish boundary at this point, the maker may technically stand in Ashover. (2)
