Full Description

Slight embankment approximately 1.5m high and approximately 0.5m wide. Embankment of the original track. Begins on Peak District National Park land, where it leaves the current track it is covered by heavy vegetation. The track then enters private farmland, belonging to Cotesfield Farm, where it is grazed and much more visible as an earthwork. On the farmland the embankment has a sloping stone face. The embankment continues within a small wood, where it is heavily overgrown with trees and a large amount of tumbled stone, possibly from a boundary wall, but equally from a sloping stone face of the embankment.(1-4).
