Full Description

Possible boundary wall, but could be a field boundary wall. The drystone wall is constructed of irregular limestone blocks and stands 1.4m high at its start. It is likely that the first section is not original as, within the vicinity of a cutting, there is a clear join in the wall. This is the point where it joins an older, more tumbled down, section of boundary wall. The wall is crossed by Green Lane, then turns toward the Cromford & High Peak Railway line, it has then been quarried away in the vicinity of the Dowlow Works. (1).
