Full Description
Retaining wall in the vicinity of cutting SMR 31132. Drystone wall construction of large irregular limestone blocks. The cutting creates a 'shelf/terrace' cutting into the hillside. The hill slopes toward the north and the wall retains a drop where the hill slopes downward. The wall stands approximately 3m at its highest point. The retaining wall then becomes a typical boundary wall at the embankment (SMR 31135). (1)
