Full Description

SK 0405 7175: Ladmanlow, Railway Wharf (site of): Triangular yard, a maximum of 75m x 110m (80 x 120yd) with 3 lines. Appears typically LNWR. (1, 2) Two houses, triangular yard, three lines splaying from apex. Originally part of the Cromford and High Peak Railway. (3) Site of Ladmanlow Goods Yard evident on the 1st edt. OS map. Nothing remains of the industrial structures, except possible boundary walls, which are topped in several areas by stone sleeper blocks. Elements of two roadside houses are contemporaneous with the goods yard, but both have been heavily altered. (4-11)
