Full Description

Drystone retaining wall, constructed of roughly dressed gritstone blocks and irregular gritstone blocks. The wall starts at ground level at Shallcross Yard, slopes up toward a bridge then continues on the other side. The wall is approximately 4m at its highest point. To the north of the bridge (SMR 14953), is a short section where the wall is constructed of blue brick, the wall then becomes a boundary wall approximately 0.7m high.
