Full Description

Accommodation bridge allowing a farm track to pass beneath the Cromford & High Peak Railway. The bridge is approximately 8m wide and 6m high. The bridge tunnel is approximately 3m wide, 5m high and 6m long, and the arch is of brick. The bridge is constructed predominantly of dressed limestone blocks laid with a combination of large and small blocks, laid in courses; the quoins are of gritstone. The bridge is flanked on either side by buttresses / retaining walls. (1)
