Full Description
Accommodation bridge built to allow a farm track to pass beneath the original (pre-1892) line of the Cromford & High Peak Railway. The bridge is set within an embankment and is constructed of roughly dressed limestone blocks laid in courses. The bridge is approximately 6m wide and 4m high. The tunnel/arch is approximately 2.5m wide, 3.5m high and 10m long.
The are limestone blocks missing in the footings and the upper lintel is also missing. (1).
