Full Description

Site of the disused Cromford & High Peak Quarry, which is a small quarry, approximately 24m x 20m and 20-25m deep, on the south side of the railway. A boundary wall [SMR 9794] becomes a retaining wall to hold up the embankment that was built over the quarry to carry the trackbed. (1)
