Full Description

Lime kiln near the Cromford & High Peak Railway tracks on the north side, covered in a limey residue. It is unclear how much of the original structure is intact. The kiln consist of three tiered arches, approximately 1.8m at its highest point. The limestone walls are approximately 2.5m high. The entrance to the kiln is constructed of gritstone blocks, nearly all of which are railway sleepers.
