Full Description

Celt or axe made of slate found at Gotam (sic) in 1845. The axe is 3½ inches in length and 1½ inches wide. (1). The axe is from the Neolithic Group VI Fine. (2,3). The exact location of this findspot is unknown and therefore the point has been plotted in the centre of Gotham. (4).
