Full Description
Site of siding to the proposed Midland Railway connection to the Cromford & High Peak Railway - now quarried away. The siding wall takes a clear turning and ends at the quarry face, but there is no evidence of other siding walls. There is a track which leads to the edge of the embankment that is at the edge of the quarry, this is covered in vegetation. The Midland Railway connection to the Cromford & High Peak Railway was never realised. (1-11)
