Full Description

Cutting through limestone for the lead up and egress from the HoptonTunnel. The cutting is approximately 5-6m wide and the walls 15-20m high at their highest point. There are short sections of a low boundary wall in areas where the rock face of the cutting is set further back from the track. NGR: SK 26823 54837 - SK 26412 54723
