Full Description
Hopton Wood Quarry Branch Line. The siding for this branch shows as an embankment and retaining wall running NE. maps show this siding was also used by the Renishaw Iron Co. (1)
Line still visible along with substantual earthworks. The site of the quarry is also visible but now privately owned and used by Croxton Plant. (10)
