Monument record MDR9482 - Boneworks Siding, Hopton Incline, Cromford & High Peak Railway

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Henry Taylor' Hopton Boneworks siding and tipping dock. The start of the siding can be discerned just to the west of the bridge (SMR 8366). However, the area is overgrown and part of the route has been disturbed by development for the active Boneworks Quarry, which is adjacent to the Cromford & High Peak Railway line. The details of the siding are, therefore, unknown.
