Full Description
The structure begins as a retaining wall for embankment, SMR 30613, at the bridge. The wall is 2m high at its start, it is vertical then slopes up the embankment to 5m. The wall continues round the curve of the track to the bridge, SMR 30617. Between the bridge and Longcliffe Goods, the wall gradually rises back up as the embankment ends and the ground level becomes more even. The wall turns into a boundary wall, which runs along the top of a cutting for a watering tank. The wall then drops down to form one wall of a siding, SMR 30619. NGR: SK 22846 55449 - SK 22639 55628.
