Full Description

Roughly 'T'-shaped concrete post. The three arms of the post are approximately 15cm wide and 5cm thick. The span of the arms is approximately 1.5m. The right arm has upraised letters, painted white, reading "LEVEL", (indicating the gradient of the Cromford & High Peak Railway track, to the right, is level. The left arm reads "1 in 1660", (indicating the gradient of the very slight slope to the left). (1, 2)
