Full Description
Boundary wall retaining the Peak Forest Tramway track alongside Black Brook. Constructed of drystone irregular gritstone blocks, approximately one metre high. The wall is repaired in places and is overgrown with moss, vegetation and has large trees growing out of it. In the section after Whitehough Head Lane, the wall is very tumbled. From Forge Mill to the sewage works the wall has been completely rebuilt. NGR: SK 03785 82130 - SK 04754 82001. (1)
