Full Description

Drystone boundary wall, constructed of irregular gritstone blocks, approximately one metre high. NGR: SK 06183 81317 - SK 06257 81263. (1) Northern boundary wall from former Old Chinley Road extending south-eastwards to allotment gardens south-east of Bowdenhay Mill. Some parts free-standing wall and some retaining wall; includes stone gate posts at southern limit. All probably constructed at time of 1803 widening; some parts now missing. (8)
