Canal bridge, Trent Lane, Long Eaton, built in 1797. 'An original brick, segmental-arch occupation bridge on the Cranfleet Canal, built 1797.' (1) From The National Heriatge List for England: 'PARISH OF LONG EATON TRENT LANE SK 43 SE 4/46 (South Side) Canal Bridge at SK 496 313 II Canal bridge. 1797. Painted red brick with stone dressings. Single stiled segmental arch with stone voussoirs. Plain brick spandrels with continuous brick band above. Brick parapets with plain stone copings. Walls splay outward to each end and finish in piers. Built as part of the Cranfleet Canal. Listing NGR: SK4968231323.' (2)
