Full Description

Five silver coins were found on farmland at Catton Hall during a metal-detecting rally on June 7 2003. The coins were found within a few feet of each other. They consist of a groat of 1553-4, a shilling of 1560-61, a sixpence of 1565 and two sixpences of 1567. Only the shilling shows significant signs of wear. (1)
