Full Description

SK 18555915. Neolithic open settlement discovered by fieldwalking at Upperhouse Farm. Finds from an area c. one acre in extent included pottery of Peterborough ware, stone axe flakes, scrapers and cores. A polished stone pendant 5.3 by 2.3 by 0.2 cms was also found, a type usually associated with chambered tombs. (1).
