Full Description
Site is shown as 'Zion Chapel (United Methodist)' on late 19th and early 20th century OS maps, and as 'Meth. Ch.' on a mid 20th century OS map, which clearly shows it has been extended to the south-west. (1, 2, 3, 4)
Openwoodgate Zion was still in use in 1994 having been built to accommodate the Methodist Reformers in 1859. This church was improved and altered in 1930. (5)
