Named on the 1st ed. 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1)
Entries for colour works in Bulmer's Directory of 1895 show that this works could be either the 'Derby Oxide & Colour Co., Ltd' of City Road or 'Leech, Neal & Co Ltd., colour manufacturers with premises also at Spondon' of City Rd., Derby (2). See SMR 32087 which is the other colour works on City Rd.
No further information at present.
