Full Description
This site is not evident on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880, the area only being shown as woodland, but it is shown as 'Old Quarry' on the 2nd edition OS map at the end of the 19th century and on the early 20th century 3rd edition. (1, 2, 3)
