Site is shown as 'Methodist Chapel (Primitive)' on a late 19th century OS map. Although the building is present on an OS map at the end of the 19th century and an early 20th century OS map, no name is given to the building. Another building [SMR 18429] several plots further south was constructed as a Primitive Methodist Chapel in 1877 and is shown as 'Methodist Chapel (Primitive)' on an OS map at the end of the 19th century and an early 20th century OS map.
