Full Description

There is a trough labelled here on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900 and the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century. (1-2) A gritstone trough with water supply. (3) The trough no longer appears on modern OS mapping, and it cannot be identified on Google Maps Street View, though the road verges are overgrown and the trough may just be hidden from sight [2012]. (4-5)
