Full Description

There is a milepost situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1) A cast iron milepost on the Cromford to Nottingham Turnpike Road dating to approximately 1766. (2) The mile post is no longer labelled on modern OS mapping, but it can be seen on Google Maps Street View [2012]. (3-4)
