Milepost, The Common, Crich, an early 19th century structure.
'Cast iron milepost opposite the Rising Sun public house. On the Nottingham - Cromford Turnpike, inscribed 'Nottm 18, Ripley 4, Cromford 5'. The turnpike is dated 1766.' (1)
