Painted milestone inscribed 'Alfreton 5, Ashbourne 14, Wirksworth 4'. (1) Milestone on the former Oakerthorpe & Ashbourne turnpike road. One side is inscribed 'TO / ALFRETON / 5 / MILES' and the other 'TO / ASHBOURN / 14 / MILES / WIRKSWORTH / 4 / MILES'. (2)
