Full Description
The site is only shown as fields on a late 19th century OS map, but there is a 'Saw Mill' shown at the southern end of the site on an OS map at the end of the 19th century. An early 20th century OS map shows the site as having expanded to the north with a 'Timber Yard' and 'Travelling Crane' shown at the northern end of the site, and the footprint of the 'Saw Mill' buildings having expanded considerably at the southern end of the site. A mid 20th century OS map shows the 'Saw Mill' buildings as having again expanded slightly at the southern end of the site. (1, 2, 3, 4)
