Date/Year 2013

Abstract/Summary

The JESSOP Consultancy undertook an archaeological watching brief in March 2013 during the removal of a low mound in Chatsworth Park, to the north-west of Chatsworth House, within the curtilage of the grade II* listed Queen Mary's Bower. The feature was found not to be of archaeological significance, and was interpreted as a former horse jump from the modern Chatsworth Horse trials.
