Abstract/Summary

An account of the aspects of the findings of the excavations undertaken in Repton, but relating specifically to the period of the Viking occupation that began in the winter of 873-4. In effect a more detailed account of the Biddles' 1992 Antiquity article but providing some additional information on the sequence as interpreted by the Biddles.
