Description

'CHESTERFIELD ROAD 1. 5169 (South East Side) Brimington Grove Farmhouse SK 4073 100197 II GV 2. C18/early C19. Ashlar with quoins, eaves cornice and blocking course. Slate roof with end brick chimneys. Symmetrical facade. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars and engraved lintels. Centre door with stone porch, 2 pillars and flat hood with cornice and blocking course. 6 panelled door with round arched traceried fanlight. To north west, section with crenellated facade. Northern lower part contains at least 1 full height cruck truss. Rear centre door of house has pulvinated frieze and architrave. Listing NGR: SK4033673419.'
