'SK 45 NW PARISH OF SOUTH NORMANTON CARNFIELD HILL 12/157 (South Side) Milepost to north of Carnfield Hall GV II
Milepost. Early C19. Cast iron. Triangular sectioned base with sloping head, bead fillet to edge and raised lettering. West side inscribed 'MANSFIELD 8 MILES', east side inscribed 'ALFRETON 1 MILE' and top inscribed 'SOUTH NORMANTON'.
