Description

Now entrance to Greyhound track. Architect: Francis Goodwin. Circa 1830. Facade remains largely unaltered. A single storey in ashlar, with corner towers, and side wings divided by shallow pilasters into 4 bays. Massive central doorway between solid piers with pilastered sides, projecting, each with 1 narrow window. Entrance in centre between 2 massive Tuscan columns; triplyph frieze and modillion cornice to centre; plain frieze at sides; small parapet and central rectangular stepped pediment.
