Description

Railings and gates. 1911. Art Nouveau style. Cast iron and brick with terracotta and stone dressings. Railings run round three sides of a large square enclosing the two schools. Deep brick plinth with moulded blue brick copings and square piers at regular intervals with terracotta cornices below stone copings. Rails have nailhead-type tops and to the centre of each set of railings is a decorative panel with scrolled ironwork to top. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK4831934755
