'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 20 July 2022 to update the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards SK 44 SE 3/56 PARISH OF ILKESTON SOUTH STREET (East Side) No 75 (The Old Chapel) (Formerly listed as Nazarene Church) 27.3.75 II Non-conformist church at time of listing. 1784, altered mid-C19. Red brick, painted to west. Painted stone dressings. Welsh slate roof. Two storeys. Three bay west elevation with pedimented gable. C19 gabled porch, flanked on each side by segment headed windows with small pane casements. Moulded hoodmould and impost band. Three similar windows above with moulded impost band. The interior has a gallery around three sides, supported on cast iron columns. Raised and fielded panelled front with fluted pilasters. Raised and fielded panelled dado. Listing NGR: SK4656641442.'
