'PARISH OF MORLEY CHURCH LANE SK 34 SE 1/83 (North Side) 2.9.52 The Village Cross GV II
Village cross. Probably C14, restored C19. Gritstone. Square in plan, raised on five steps. Square base and tapering shaft with chamfered angles. C19 top, with moulded cap surmounted by a square lantern with crocketed niches and with a crocketed pinnacle above. The cross stands on church property, but before enclosure this was the village green.
