Description

Village cross. Probably C14, restored C19. Gritstone. Square in plan, raised on five steps. Square base and tapering shaft with chamfered angles. C19 top, with moulded cap surmounted by a square lantern with crocketed niches and with a crocketed pinnacle above. The cross stands on church property, but before enclosure this was the village green. Listing NGR: SK3959140890
