Description

'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 23/12/2015 SK 35 NW 1/65 PARISH OF DETHICK, LEA AND HOLLOWAY, LEA MAIN ROAD (North Side) Nos 1 & 2, The Row (Formerly listed under LEA MOOR ROAD (North Side)) GV II House, formerly two cottages within a terrace, the remaining parts of which have been substantially altered. Late C18. Coursed rubble gritstone with brick end stacks and stone slated roof coverings. Three storeys, two bays, formerly a single bay to each dwelling. Stacked former 2-light flush mullioned windows, now with horizontal sliding sash windows in flush stone surrounds. Ground floor openings have C20 joinery. Two doorways, both with massive quoined surrounds and lintels, now with one blocked to form a window, the other with a C20 half glazed door. Listed for group value. Listing NGR: SK3265857563.'
