'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 21 March 2022 to update text and reformat to current standards SK 34 NE 8/228 KILBOURNE ROAD (South Side) Pottery Methodist Church and adjoining schoolroom GV II 1812. Pottery Methodist Church. Stone chapel with unusual swept gable to street. Two storeys. Two windows at first floor level with coloured margin lights and plaque between. Later centre porch. Adjoining schoolroom to west (of 1878) has stone facade to street. Gable with oeil-de-boeuf in tympanum. Two storeys. Two windows, sashes with glazing bars. Later centre porch and modern western ground floor addition. Red brick rear and side elevations. Name echoes the predecessor of Bourne's Pottery at Denby which formerly stood in this locality.
